The Committee of Coordinators

The Committee of Coordinators is chaired by the Secretary General and includes the Coordinators of the Standing Committees of the Council.

Composition

The Committee of Coordinators is composed of:

  • Dr. Farkhonda Hassan Secretary-General
  • Dr. Hoda Rashad - Committee Coordinator of the Education, Training and Scientific Research Committee
  • Dr. Safaa El Baz - Committee Coordinator of the Health and Population Committee
  • Dr. Amani Kandil - Committee Coordinator of the Non-Governmental Organizations Committee
  • Dr. Gaber Ahmed El Sayed Asfour - Committee Coordinator of the Culture Committee
  • Dr. Soad Kamel Rizk - Committee Coordinator of the Economic Committee

  • Ambassador Aleya Abul-Ezz  - Committee Coordinator of the External Relations Committee
  • Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Ahmed Sherif - Committee Coordinator of the Governorates Committee

  • Mrs. Amina Mohamed Shafik - Committee Coordinator of the Media Committee

    Functions

    The Committee of Coordinators has the following authorities:

    This Committee shall express opinions on issues referred by the Board of the Council or by its President, coordinate the activities of the Committees and study the best means of complementing their work.
