NCW Media and Culture Committee organized a seminar to discuss the television serial Qasim Amin. A wide audience consisting of NCW members and staff, writers, media workers, thinkers and others shared views and discussed this period of Egyptian history that represented a landmark, not only for the Egyptian Women but for the entire Egyptian society. The director, Mrs. Inam Mohamed Aly received commendation from the audience, for her well researched and beautifully performed work. A recommendation was made by Dr. Farkhonda Hassan, Secretary-General of NCW, in a subsequent meeting with the Board of Trustees of the TV and Broadcasting Corporation, of which NCW is a member, to translate this work into foreign languages.
