| A US Congressional Staffers visit the National Council for Women, On 13 January 2004 |
Ten Congressional Staffers from the House Ways and Means Committee, the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and accompanied by the Executive Director of AmCham Egypt, and US and Egyptian escorts will visit the National Council for Women (NCW) today at 14:00 hours. |

The purpose of the visit is to acquaint the mission members with the mandate of the Council and the activities carried out to implement the functions stipulated by this mandate for the social, economic and political empowerment of Egyptian women. |
The programme will include a visit to NCW Information Centre, its various other departments and the programme and projects being carried out in collaboration with national and international development organizations. |
