On 27 January 2004, during her mission to Egypt, The Right Honourable Chief Justice of Canada, Beverley McLachlin, P.C. will visit the National Council for Women to meet with members of the Council and the Coordinators of the Legal Standing Committee, senior members of the judiciary, including Deputy Chief Justice Tahany El Gibaly, the first Egyptian Woman Judge, Counsellor Adel Omar Sherif, Deputy Chief Justice , and the Coordinators of the External Relations Standing Committee.
