NCW has prepared a national plan for the advancement of women 2002-2007,
which was integrated into the National Plan for Socio-Economic Development.
A participatory approach was adopted in preparing this plan with a set of
measures and steps taken with all ministries. The plan was discussed by the
Planning and Budget Committee of the People's Assembly and Shura Council and
it was integrated into the state's comprehensive plan. NCW shall conduct
annual follow-up on the implementation of the plan within the programs of
all ministries. The plan is considered a success story for NCW.
