Rural Women

This programme aims at addressing and solving the problems that rural women encounter, and at coordinating with ministries and authorities concerned with regard to policy-making for their empowerment.

A framework for a training programme has been discussed under the title "Problems of Women in the Agricultural Sector and How to address them". This programme was implemented in June 2003.

The results of the situation analyses are been finalized and indicators will be set, that will be taken into account when putting down future goals and programmes for the empowerment of the rural women.
